What PC is used for

Joints, structural brackets, technical covers, parts that see more than 100 °C.

What to watch out for

It needs high temperatures and an honest wall thickness. Technical batches take longer.

Serial batch: about seven production days

FAQ

PC: common questions

01When should you use PC in 3D printing?

The toughest filament we print: impact, heat and load. For joints, brackets and parts near heat. Typical uses: joints, structural brackets, technical covers, parts that see more than 100 °C.

02What are the limits of PC?

It needs high temperatures and an honest wall thickness. Technical batches take longer.

03What temperature can 3D printed PC take?

The indicative heat deflection temperature (HDT) is 120 °C. It is a reference value for the filament: real behavior depends on geometry, load and print settings.

04Can you produce serial batches in PC?

Yes. The batch runs with the same file and the same parameters, with about seven production days plus shipping. From 10 parts we apply −20%, from 30 parts −40%, and from 100 parts a custom price.
